Champak Steel and Engg. Co. is one of the leading manufacturer and supplier of 5083 Aluminium ASTM B209 Sheets and Plates, Aluminium Alloy 5083 ASME SB 209 Coils, 5083 Aluminium Foils, 5083 Aluminium Strips, ASTM B209 Aluminium Alloy 5083 Perforated Sheets, ASME SB 209 5083 Sheets, Plates, Coils at the best price in India.
Also known as armor plate, these 5083 aluminum sheets are hardened to an H131 temper for increased strength and impact resistance over standard 5083 sheets. They meet MIL-DTL-46027 and are the grade of aluminum used for personnel carriers in military operations. 5083 is highly corrosion resistant and is especially suited for use around salt water.
5083 Aluminum Plate Alloy 5083 aluminum plates have higher strength than 5052 plate and has exceptional thermal conductivity. In the tempered condition, it retains good formability due to excellent ductility. It is highly suitable for welding and can be hardened by cold work.

5083. Aluminum alloy 5083 is commonly used by the US Navy. It's stronger than 5052, yet it's still formable and easily welded. This aluminum alloy is widely used in chemical and marine environments where corrosion resistance is crucial and can also withstand extremely cold temperatures without becoming brittle.
Perforated Aluminum Sheet Supplier. Perforated aluminum sheet is a sheet product that has been punched with a wide variety of hole sizes and patterns providing an aesthetic appeal. We import our sheets fully perforated at the mill which ensure unmatched flatness and uniformity which can't be replicated by local perforators.
shipbuilding. The aluminum industry refers to material 0.250" and thicker as plate, less than 0.250" as sheet. (2) Sensitization – A condition that occurs in aluminum alloys with high magnesium content (greater than 3%), in which the grain boundaries become outlined with an aluminum magnesium precipitate. This condition leads
Easy-to-Form Marine-Grade 5086 Aluminum Sheets and Bars. Yield Strength: 17, 000 psi. Hardness: Not Rated. Temper: H32 (1/4 Hard) Fabrication: Cold Worked. Specifications Met: ASTM B209. 5086 aluminum is used on ships, oil rigs, tanks, and pressure vessels because of its excellent saltwater resistance and formability.
