Nov 18, 2021 I just completed a 24' aluminum hull, so I have good knowledge about aluminum fabrication and sheet fitting onto the hull. My huge problem is to cut the flat sheets of aluminum to fold exactly onto the hull and be welded in place, without repeated cutting and fitting, and wasting a lot of material and labor.

I covered the panels with .045 grade alumn.diamond plating.I used 3/16 pop rivits to hold them in place. The panels are 17" high by four ft long. I got the plating at a metal supplier for $14.00 a sheet. Each sheetis 29"x4"'.
