This is a drivetrain skid plate DIY weld-together kit for the 3rd generation (1996-2002) Toyota 4Runner. This 2-piece set mounts using all factory mounting points (no drilling required) and provides excellent protection of the radiator, front differential, engine oil pan, steering rack, transmission and transfer case.

There wasn't much information on the internet about it, so I figured I'd contribute to helping others with this info. A body shop was able to put it on.

Dec 03, 2021 I have this skid plate system on my 2021 JLU Rubicon 2.0T. It is high quality. The installation is do-able in an afternoon with the Jeep on the ground. A helper is good but not necessary. The clearance issue is with the engine skid plate bracket which gets a bit close to the front differential.
