The bolt pattern matched the standard SBC headers on my heads, so stock manifolds should work. The front 0f the block has standard 3/8 threads and it is the normal chevy pattern. although, the motor mount and trans mount are metric, the new bolts are included with the engine. they recommend using a steel distributor gear with the roller cam, so a stock one is ok.

Jan 02, 2010 If the customer's approach is to build a racecar with license plates, then a full-on race head is probably the best choice. On the other hand, if it is a 4,000 lb. daily driver with a stock torque converter and a 3.00 rear gear, a more moderate approach is called for.
